I got mine :yay: 3 bottles.......1 bottle of the strength and repair shampoo and 2 bottles of the length and strength conditioner. I will be going to another walgreens tomorrow to get the strength and repair conditioner.

*eyebrow cocked...watching Gym..and her purchases...*

You know I was on it Mona  The strength and repair is very similar to redken extreme in the ceramide and polymer effect. That is one reason why the conditioner stays sold out at both walgreens near my apartment:rolleyes:

Um..huh...

The only thing I want is the melting masque.

Why aren't yall using the $1 off coupons from the Sunday paper? That would make the Garnier free! (I don't remember which papers it was, but there were Garnier coupons in several of them over the past few months).

 My paper hasn't had any yet

But I did get great loreal coupons :yay:

WHAT?! Okay, for 99 cents, I think I might be willing to use Garnier again. I love the smell of it so much. Dang it! I am trying to stop spending.

I clipped mine...was just waiting for time and opportunity...

I caved in and washed my hair to try my new stuff out. I only used the shampoo and  Very creamy so you only need a tiny bit. Unlike the sleek and shine shampoo, this one is a creamy pearl color and feels very luxurious in your hands. It made my hair soft but it felt strong, not overly mushy soft. This shampoo is their most fortifying one and it has ceramides  I think I am going to stick with this one for a while to see if I see any benefit.

I wanted to get in on this deal again, but I bought 4 bottles of poo & condish the last time they had this deal, which was about 2 months ago, I think. So, as tempted as I was to buy some more yesterday, I went ahead and passed it up b/c I'm trying to use up what I have. This is a great deal though, and you can't beat it with a stick!

No. I should have waited to get my stuff. I thought i was doing good at $2.99. Is everything on sale? because i like the sleek and shine leave in and the 3 minute moisture mask is the buisness. I could spare a few dollars to stock up.

There is a limit to how many you can get right? Also do I need a coupon or does this discount come off automatically?

Everything except the big bottle of serum and the big bottles of shampoo and conditioner is practically on sale.

You can only get one at a time. The coupon is in the easy saver booklets that are at the store. The coupon gives you $2 off and walgreens has them on sale this week for 2.99 so after the discount, you pay $1. I grabbed two booklets when the first came out. At the first store, I had already tore my coupon out but at the second store, it was still in the book and the lady just scanned it and told me to keep it in case I wanted to get more. So from now on, I am not tearing anything out unless they make me

Oh great. Thanks for the explanation. I was not familiar with the coupon process at Walgreens but now I know. I will be making my stop today. I appreciate the feedback. Take Care.

You can get as many as you want unless the store says no (most stores don't usually limit you). The coupon will adjust the price for as many as you have. So if you buy 5 once they scan the Walgreen's coupon it will automatically take $2 off each bottle.:)

oh man, as soon as i read this thread I left my cube and jetted to the Walgreens next door. I got eight products for a total of 10 bucks and some change (taxes are high downtown Chicago).

I got four length and strength condishes
three strength and repair condishes
and one curl sculpting cream-gel (since it was so cheap, I decided to see if it would work on my relaxed hair as a wash and go).

The lady ringing me up was using the coupon from the book. I originally only got four b/c I didn't want to be greedy and she was like, "I don't care!" :lachen:

So I went back and got four more. What a cheap way to replenish my condish staff and I'm a mixtress so this will be a good base to work from. Thanks Gym for starting this thread!

Thanks for posting! My neighborhood has lots of Walgreen's. If there's a limit, i can just drive a matter of a few blocks from one to the other. I'll definitely be stopping by on my way home tonight!

You made out like a bandit
I am really really really enjoying the strength and repair. It reminds me of redken extreme in its overall effect, light fortifying with ceramides, and with all of the fruit acids and whatnot, it helps keep the cuticle smooth. I am going to get another shampoo and maybe 2 more bottles of conditioner just because the deal is too good. I plan on using the strength and repair line all throughout my next relaxer stretch to see if I see any cumlative effects in my hair.

yall better hurry up b/c I'm sure we are not the only hair board discussing this. All the Walgreens will probably be cleared out by tomorrow!

I Got mine. Has anyone tried the 2in1 shampoo and condtioner? I want to try it but I'm skured:ohwell:. I know a girl who only use that and her hair looks sooooo gooooood. I mean it is thicker and its growing well plus she got that swang:yep:

4b Ladies, what do u recommend?

Yes I would. I actually used the sleek and strong long exclusively for the first 5 month of my journey (progress pics in siggy).

I now mix and match with hairveda products.

But i still LOVE this line and this is a great price.

I got 2 sleek and shine shampoos and 1 sleek and shine leave in.

I used one coupon and she wrong it up three times.

I was looking for the sleek and shine 3 minuted DC but could not find any. I may try another walgreens if I have time.

I like the length and strength, moisture one. I bought them the last time they had the sale for 99 cent and I didn't think I was gonna like them, but I did. I'll be buying some tomorrow need to stock up for the summer . Btwn these, V05 moisture mild and Aussie moist I am set.
