That's absolutely insane! The final sale for those 3 bottles was $102 and they currently have a bottle with a current bid of $30.

THAT IS NUTS!!!

I sold 4 bottles for $60. I just would not feel right taking someone's money like that!!! :nono: But the seller started the auction low, not his/her fault that it got up so high.

All the BSS near me are ALL OUT! They really must be out of business.

But, $100!! There are other products out here to get instead!!

Edited to add:

I tried surge one time and it make my scalp burn. That was with the original formula. Never tried it again. I think I still have the bottle under my sink.

I wouldn't feel right doing that either. The bottles I had I sold to members for cost. I kept a few for myself.

Surge is a staple product for me and stockpiling has paid off.
I found it in a local BSS on sale for$1.39.
Surge is plentiful depending on where you live I see it in every BSS in my town.

Hey y'all,

I've been fascinated by these folks spending $50 on Surge on Ebay. It never worked for me. Did it work for you? Are you feenin' for it?
it worked for me but not no 50$ worth:lachen::lachen::lachen:i going to try GUEYE braids spray some body said it has the same ingredient and more? i dont know about Ebay, they could be puting water in it:lachen:

Wow! I can't believe folks are forking out that kind of money for surge! I got a couple of bottles sitting on the shelf.....I'm gonna try it to see what the hype is all about :look:

I found an almost full bottle under my sink, so I've decided to try it out. It's been about 2 weeks, and I do feel some NG coming in. When I first used it (like a year ago) I do remember it burning my scalp. I added a little JBCO and no more burns. And I had no idea this was such a great detangler! I'm not even fooling with ebay, so I hope they put this back on the market soon.

Yes sirrree.

It works great for me... I've had my braids in for a week and i already have up to a half inch of NG. (some places less some places more)
I think Surge makes a great braid spray because it is suppose to make ur hair strong. So this is keeping my fine strands strong under these braids.
I have a few bottles in my closet.
I have replaced infusium 23 with Surge 14.
Matter of fact, let me go buy some more for 2008's supply. hahaha
By the way...I only spend 4.99 for my Surge.

50 dollars!!!! I get it for like 5.99 at Beauty Depot.:lachen::drunk:
Heck, sometimes even 3.99!!:lick:
Yep it worked for me, I am using it now and it is giving me massive growth in these braids. It is the only thing that made my nape go from beady beads to like 2 inches. (gotta remember to take a pic). I love it!!!! It really works for me it moisturizes and make my hair stronger and softer, and it grows it.:yep:

For anyone in the DC/MD/VA area, I found a whole shelf full of Surge in Shoppers in Clinton. I bought 4 bottles. :sekret:

Surge is my BFF  I love it. I also have the Woojee Cream. Now I am back on track to getting my hair back. Took me 4ever to find Surge.

I'm not certain if it was the Surge or the consistent washing and bunning I did when I was using it.

Whether or not it works for growth, I do know that it detangled NG really well and it lessened breakage and shedding.

It helped me grow back in my edges after a bad braid experience.

They sell it at a local grocery store here. In fact, they have alot of the other products too. ie Woojee cream.
Imma have to take a road trip to DE I see

You really think there's some left after 2 months?:lachen: In case you are lucky, be sure it's the right kind (without the cones and xtra chemicals).

Damn girl, I thought you meant College Park Georgia. I was about to look your behind up and meet you at the BSS. :lachen: That stuff is straight up ghost here in Atlanta. I have found myself pulling over whenever I see a BSS just to see if they have it anymore. Had I of known they were going to go out of business or discontinue the spray, I would have stocked up last summer. that stuff worked wonders for me and my daughter's hair.

I decided not to go all the way to the shoppers in clinton & went to the one by me. . . saw 4 bottles on the shelf, I only took 3. hey, imma giver, what can I say?

it has really helped my new growth .. im 13 weeks post .. never in my life have i been able to stretch for this long .. it really detangles my new growth with no pain .. im trying to stretch for 6 months and i definetly think i can do it , because my new growth is so soft and managable.:yep:

I found that Surge was a GREAT thing for my hair when I had braids... and I use it to coat my hair with braid outs & twist outs but because of the manipulation, I have stopped doing that style as much

I found yet another bottle of it @ BSS on Monument Street in Baltimore last week... I dont know the name of the place, theres like 5 on the same street but its 2 blacks down from Johns Hopkins Hospital...

I seem to find Surge Plus 14 on one of those never looked at dusty bottom shelves in the BSS... near the Sulfur 8

The have a LOT of the other Surge products on the shelf as well...

Also about a week ago, the BSS in Essex in the strip mall with the DMV had quite a lot of Surge stuff left on the shelf, just no Plus 14...

hope that helps

I'm trying to finish my bottle now so I'm using it every other day and moisturising my scalp with a cream by Phytospecific. I'm not sure if this is new growth or if the surge is making my roots revert because its water based. Time will tell.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes, Surge Revitalizer 14 is WORKING for me! I jumped on the Surge bandwagon late in the game so I could not purchase it in any BSS stores but I was determined to get my hands on it. I figured it had to be sold somewhere in the world. So I turned to Ebay and nothing but I did not stop and eventually Ebay sellers started posting it like crazy. I purchased three bottles and I experienced more than the average growth in a short period of time, plus it made my hair stronger.

Yes, I paid an arm and a leg for the bottles I purchased off of Ebay but hey that's business right. I guess they are just following the economic law of supply and demand. :greedy:

I will keep purchasing Surge 14 until I reach mid-back length. :gorgeous: But I believe I currently have enough bottles to achieve that goal. :pepper:

And before anyone suggests using Mega-Tek or Ovation, I have both of them, I did not like the enormous amount of shed hairs so I quitthem.:nono:

I quit "them" to ...well mega tek.

I have two bottles of surge at home, as i am hiding my hair for a while i dont know if i should use the surge. It made my hair rather dry and i dont want to take down my cornrows to find no breakage.

Did anyone else find that it was a lil drying?

It was to watery for me......I couldnt hang!!:nono: BUT- I did buy 10 bottle for 6.99 and sold them on Ebay for 30.00-50.00 a bottle. Wish I could find some more.......
