Did not Like Mizani Conditioning Setting Lotion

I recently purchased a bottle of Mizani Conditioning Setting Lotion. Not that I am unhappy with the Pantene Pro-V Relaxed and Natural Wrap and Set Lotion I have been using for the past month and a half. I actually really like it. However, my new stylist used the Mizani on my hair when she roller set it, and my hair came out great.

However, when I tried to duplicate the process at home, it was less than satisfactory. The product is stiff and sticky - it contains heavy "cones", and is a fixative for the hair.

Perhaps that is why my stylist applied the Farouk BioSilk Therapy before the Mizani? Can't say. But, I am returning the Mizani, and going back to the Pantene.

Anybody else have a similar experience with Mizani Conditioning Setting Lotion?

I've never used it, but I do like the Pantene wrap/set lotion. It's really more of a conditioner
