This is the PM from Victor owner of Sabino:
Hi everyone,
I'm Victor Sabino with Lok & Blok (aka Moisture Block). I wanted to post to clear a few things up.
1. We no longer make Moisture Block because we had complaints that it was too difficult to spread evenly throughout the hair. Uneven application leaves the hair that did not get SMB open to damage, breakage and split ends. The Lok and Blok formula is exactly the same other than adding 2 cones for easier application; this does not dilute the product. All you have to do is to use a little more L&B. Through extensive testing nationwide, we found it to be just as effective as SMB and we have had very positive feedback. We use Lok and Blok on all of our salon clients with all types of hair texture and they ALL love it.
2. Our old chemist past away and his brother is making SMB illegally. We are currently in a lawsuit against this man for trademark infringency, intent to destroy our business and many other federal counts against him and his company. We have sent out notices to distributors selling on the internet, salons, websites carrying SMB, EBay and Amazon. Anyone that does not comply will be included in the lawsuit. We ask all of you to discourage aiding these criminals by boycotting SMB. We can not support those who purchase SMB nor guarantee the stability of the product.
3. We are a small company and do our best in marketing our product so non-users are aware of the freedom that so many have experienced when using Lok and Blok. Those of you that have made hurting statements about Lok and Blok and encourage others to purchase SMB cheap, hurts our business. If you don't like Lok and Blok then we ask that you discuss it with us directly rather than post such statements and linking others to sites that retail SMB.
There are other products that we discourage our customers from using with the old SMB and the current L&B. When those products are used with SMB and L&B they can dilute the cones making it less affective.
We thank those who love Lok and Blok as much as SMB and your willingness to contact us personally
[email protected] or [email protected]if you have any questions with our product.
Please visit our new website http://www.gotfrizz.com and read through our site. There is so much great information that will help you understand what products can and can not d for your hair.
Blessings to all,
Victor Sabino
Did anyone else get this msg or was it only me???
