I haven't used this product, but I did a search and it seems like Sabino changed the formula a couple of years ago. I went to the site and there is the MB and a new one called Lok and Blok. Is the MB the original version or did he change that as well?

MB is the original version. Don't get the LB. I got the MB a few weeks ago(luckily I live down the street from Victor's Salon and able to talk with him about the two) and he says that MB works better for thick coarse hair (I'm 4a). I've fallen in love with the MB and my hairstylist has as well. Definitely go with the MB.
