I really love this gel I bought it tryout even though it is quite expensive but I cannot afford to buy it regularly so is there a replacement for this gel that anyone can recommend other than kinky curly and that is much more affordable.

Hmmm....the closest I've come to a cheap soft-hold gel that didn't flake in my hair is herbal essence set me up gel, sadly it's only in this little tube.

Hmm, you could make your own "custard" by mixing ecostyler with oil or conditioner. Mahogany curls also uses Lets Jam custard for her wash n goes and it's super affordable
