Okay, so I had a stylist use this on my hair and I lurve it - the best relaxer I have ever used. THEN, I found out that only a license holder has to ORDER it
But wait, I found a site online where I can order it
So, I'm going to self relax using it
question - do you apply this like a regular relaxer? Apply, smooth, wait 15 or so minutes? The thing is, my old stylist used this and there was no burning, tingling whatsoever.
Your thoughts?

Castor oil - good tip
She also applied it, smoothed it and rinsed out / neutralized about 15 or so minutes later... I'm curious as to what she was mixing in a little container. You ladies to self relax with Design Essentials, do you have to mix anything in it? I know we can add olive oils, amino acids, etc. but DE is sold pre-mixed, right?
but never really got a chance to try DE(I have always wanted to but there doesn't seem to be any stylists in the area that use the line for some reason). I think I am going to go with the time release relaxer if I decide to relax my hair again this year. Do you mind me asking that if the hair is relaxed bone straight with the time release does it tend to look lifeless and dull(stick straight). The lady that did my corrective relaxed used Designer Touch, although she stated that she used the complete Affirm fiberguard kit when I made my appt./at my consultation
