Den1s!!!Glorious UPDATE \"My hair has grown back\" pics too
Look how all my hair has grown back since my hair cut in March 27, 2004 /images/graemlins/grin.gif plus I haven't taken any vits since Feb.
Some of you may be suprised that I took the plunge and with the help of my sister i managed to correct 70% of the underprocessing, thanks to the wonderful advice from you ladies. I used Affirm original in mild.
I never knew relaxing hair was so easy. My hair has never contained enough moisture when i was using the Affirm Fiberguard which defintely was the culprit. I suffered dryness and shedding for months, the stylist also underprocesed large section of my head which equalled inconsistent textures causing matting, tangles and breakage.
My sister worked in eight to ten sections. She applied the relaxer at the ends first, i didn't do the newgrowth i didn't have enough to relax on /images/graemlins/frown.gif so i protected growth with some vaseline. She smoothed for 5-6 minutes total time 8 and rinse out the section with water then applied Affirm conditioners for 5 minutes, rinse..... neutralise, and repeated this process again. Afterwards, each corrected section was coated with Affirm preservo chemical block. After sections were completed, I shampooed again with the neutraliser before finshing off with keracare shampoo followed by conditioning treatment with a mixture of keracare/joico.
Detangling is so much easier, my staples are s-curl, L’oreal taming crème, acti-wave lotion, better braids unbraids thanks to jamaericandiva for this recommendation, Denman Brush and shower comb praises to Hairlove, curlycurly for great tips on self-texturizing, thanks to everyone who offered advice and support /images/graemlins/grin.gif.
