Babyliss scalp massage brush from Sally Beauty Supply ($1.99).

I love this brush! It is a palm sized detangler with thick rubber "teeth". It is the best tool I've found that mimics fingers (wide space between teeth/bristles, thick teeth/bristles). After one use, I went back to Sally's to grab another one. It has replaced the denman D31 I've had for years.
