HIT: Gleau oil - I use it every other day and my hair loves it. It's the perfect mixture, not to light or heavy.

Hairveda cocoa line - my hair LOVES LOVES this stuff. I use the moisturizing cream every day and it does wonders for my hair.

@Kindheart Quite a few actually.:nono:

There is a YouTube Video in the BF thread where someone said several of her KBB DC'ers were missing.

And others have said in the BF thread, that they had items missing and had to "Contact Seller".

Go to the BF Thread.:yep:

-IPN Tea Spritz under my prepoo. It made my hair hard and was a no-go with using it as a daily spritz throughout the week so I added it to my wash day routine instead.

-Oyin Shine & Define. This gives soft hair with nice hold. I like it better than HV Red Tea Souffle that I've been using as of late.

-Oyin Honey Hemp. Soft hair every time.

-Tea Rinsing -- steeping loose leaf teas for wash day rinses.

its a 10+keratin leave in conditioner-its quickly becoming one of my favorites:love:

i don't like the price tag though:look:

Hit
Afroveda Whipped Gelly :yep: : Good stuff. A little goes a long way and it has a decent amount of hold.

I think its very overpriced and am glad that I purchased 2 16oz jars from her pre-blk friday sale. I will only purchase when she has a sale of 20% or more off. I think what I have will hold me for 5-6 months.

continued hits
giovanni 50-50 poo
aubrey's hsr, gbp or j.a.y condtioners
db leave-in
komaza protein strengthener
sapote, hemp, kukui, meadowfoam, evoo, evco, castor, and jbco oils
claudies isha cream, quinoa coffee balancing, and balancing ends insurance

new hits:
hydroquench systems go deep dc
giovanni sas poo

possible miss:
claudies murumuru-acai butter- its seems the consistency of this product changed from my previous purchase. though it is water based its seems greasy and is just sitting on my hair. it didn't do this last time :( i'll use it up and make sure not to repurchase

Kindheart

I stopped dealing with KBB sometime ago cause she's gotten too big for her friggin britches. Making the size of product smaller but charging the same price and telling ppl they are liars when they didn't receive product doesn't sit well with me. I used to love her hair milk...don't know what its called now. DB leave-in is an excellent sub for it as is Hydroquench Systems Greaseless Moisture.

I hit Big Time on Silk Elements Megasilk Olive Oil Treatment . Man that stuff is vanglorious! Its on Sale at Sally's for 6.99 (reg. price 14.39) which is totally out of my price range, but this stuff is amazing!

I remember when Afroveda products were under $10. I still can't get over how quickly (and how high) her prices jumped.

Hit: TIGI Bed Head Moisture Maniac Conditioner

Yes, yes, and yes!!!! This stuff is absolutely wonderful--and appropriately named. It's a stand-alone conditioner that provides great moisture.

I remember when they said that they were no longer making any new bottles of it. Thankfully, I'm still able to find it quite easily. I'm still worry about not being able to find it at some point, so I make sure to stay stocked. I have about three of the big bottles.

I love it for co-washing! I didn't know they were discontinuing it though. I just saw a big bottle at Ross a few days ago. That size is definitely a better buy than the small one.

I saw a video on YouTube from someone saying that it was being discontinued. I also saw a thread on NC where a woman contacted Tigi's customer service department, and the customer service representative said that it would eventually be phased out and replaced with Bed Head Urban Antidotes Level 2 Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner.

I guess I'm paranoid because it works so well, and I don't want to have to use something else. I'm still fuming because Redken's Smooth Down Detangling Cream has been discontinued.

As I mentioned upthread, I'm still able to find the Moisture Maniac easily, so all is well...for now.

Yes, you can get a better deal if you go to places like Ross or Marshall's. Duane Reade (and Target when it's not on sale) tacks on about $5 extra.

I buy the big bottle because I use it as a conditioner and a leave-in.

Not exactly a hit or miss: Paul mitchell tea tree shampoo
Well I only bought this because I like the cool tingling feeling most dandruff shampoos tend to provide. This shampoo had very little tingle, I was disappointed. I must say that it didn't dry my hair out, and it made my hair smell clean and refreshing, like it removed the smell of the products from my last wash.

A note about a continued hit:

komaza protein strengthener- to my surprise when I received this in the mail almost a week ago its no longer a liquid like aphogee 2 step but like a lotion.

I ordered 2 8oz bottles. I used it today and still like it. The same effect and less messy to use. I felt like I used less because the lotion consistency makes it easy to distribute through my hair whereas before I was likely spraying too much because I wasn't sure I got all my strands and felt they had to be soaked. My hair doesn't dry as crunchy as it did with the liquid but my hair was soft and strong after rinsing and doing my hsr condish. My curls as usual were more defined and my hair easy to detangle. I was worried that the owner had ruined a good thing but I think it really is new and improved! :)

Hit: *Silk Dreams Vanilla Silk DC

This stuff is amazeballs and gets a big YASSSSSSSS from me :).

*Using less product to DC.

I was using close to 12 oz. of condish every week to dc :ohwell:. I only used about 21/2 oz. last night and my hair was just as conditioned ANDDDDD it took me less then 15 mins. to rinse, apply my rinsing conditioner, detangle my entire head and do a cool water rinse. FRICKIN' SCORE!

Possible hit: Tea Rinsing

As I suspected it didn't do jack *BLEEP*(:look:) for my shedding, which was my main point of doing it *Insert sour behind lip pop here*, but it did make my hair very soft :yep:, so I will continue to do them weekly to see if it will decrease my shedding overtime.

Miss: Not figuring out the whole less is more sooner.....I could have saved myself alotttttttttttttttt of money :(/:).
