Death Bed Confession

Some men are truly good at finding new and creative ways to screw you over on their deathbed; my Uncle was a Deacon in the church and by all accounts, he was considered a good and moral upstanding member in very good standing in his church community.

That is why his poor unsuspecting wife did not hesitate when she erroneously thought that he was being extremely kind and compassionate by agreeing to become the godfather of one of the very troubled very PYT OOW son because he would be a good moral compass and a great influence. When the boy was 1 year old, he official brought him to live with him citing that the boy's mother was a drug addict and that no one else wanted the responsibility of caring for her son.

Fast forward four years later he's old ragged tale is one his deathbed when he decided to confess that his godson who was still residing in their home all these years was really his biological son. The real icing on the proverbial cake was that the reason he finally confessed but it was not to clear his conscience per say but to extract a deathbed promise from her because some persons have a lot of audacity and a false sense of entitlement. Ultimately, his dying wish was that she would continue to care for the boy as her own because his mother had died of a drug overdose and he needed her to promise that she would continue to care for the boy.

At least he did not bring his OOW children home and under false pretenses and ensconce them into the household.

That is NOT cool!

What a selfish jerk! He knew he was about to meet his maker and wanted to clear his conscious before he died.

What a creep.

Theresamonet Surprisingly the answer is yes and she went through the proper legal channels to be official recognized as his mother, which required a 2-year drawn out legal battle with his biological mother's side of the family.

Was she black? I don't who that poster was that said that black women are the ultimate superwomen. You think a man would do that for us?

Mess around and tell a man this on your deathbed. Hell, not even HALF of this and see how he treats you. I can't believe she took care of that child. The child would be SOL. Yeah I said it. Let the other family members deal.

And this woman is responsible for building his legacy after he dies? She's going to set the tone for how people remember him (i.e. the funeral) ... he stupid. I'd have his *** in a clown suit with a big, furry ***** painted on his face!

I would have defib'd him so many times to get my Jet Li moves in on his butt..he wouldn't be passing away soon at all.

"What chu say?"

"(squirt paddles) CLEAR!... ZZZZZZZ!"

"Oh, so you back? Un huh! Ker POW!"

He dies again....

"CLEAR.....ZZZZZ!"

See, a man like that would never have changed. He died the way he lived, selfishly. He wanted to kill her the rest of her life with that deathbed confession.

Wow

Exactly, couldn't be me. Especially a drawn out legal battle? No sir. There go your relatives, go join em

Stories like this make me want to stay by myself. How are you expected to trust people?

You can't. That scares me about getting married. Folks been married 30+ years and they still finding out new stuff about them. :nono:

To know that you held up your vows, your side of the deal and then be told it was all in vain?

I would also leave his body there for someone else to deal with and tell everyone who asked me EXACTLY what he told me & let THEM bury him.

I need to keep a nice policy on my husband too...

maybe those other women will be kind enough to handle the funeral. i will be too busy, considering i need time to go home and count all the money i got from that choad's seven life insurance policies and still get ready for the after-party.

He must have heard something wrong in church. Confess to the Lord! If you're not at a point of trying to work things out, there was no need to burden her. Maybe he wanted to give her the real deal on her so called friends. If the OOW kids were minors, maybe he wanted to prepare her for an inheritance/estate claim.

Trying to find the bright side, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he was this mean and petty towards her all through most of their married life.

Omg...the story is so sad but these responses are hilarious but are the absolute truth. I'm mad he died two hours after that. I would've ripped all of the tubes out of his body, rolled his dying behind right into the floor and stomped him right there. And I 100% agree with the posters that said they would've found a hot stud and did the deed all over his grave. I might even do it while his body is still six feet above just so he could watch, dead or alive. Stuff like this makes me sick to my stomach...like I don't even want to trust a mudda fukah. Smh

In the words of Ms. Ceely "cause you a low-down dirty dog..that's why"

How selfish....I gotta wonder how he treated her during the relationship. He could have called the Reverend, Priest of whatever to confess. They have them at the hospital. I guess he really wanted to "F" with her head just one last time.

ETA: I wish the widow had been quick minded and made up some affairs of her own. She shoulda told him some of his kids weren't his, that she was going to marry his buddy once he died, that she never loved him... SOMETHING!!

This really ticks me off.

Me I would go out find a younger man better looking more money and a bigger penis Make hella love right on his grave and then Shyete on it when I leave NEVER to return again.

A friend of mine did this she has a nasty husband he finally kicked off Found her this REALLY REALLY good looking fly Puerto Rican dude that most have knocked the bottom out of that six ways from Shabbat....

DH's dad did the very same thing after having a heart attack. But he lived....he thought he was on his death bed though.

I would punch that bastard in his friggin face, right there in the hospital. He should have taken it to the grave. He only said that to ease his mind, with total disregard for those he left, an ultimate selfish buster.

This mess happened to my cousin-in-law. She was in shock BUT after the funeral, she poured a can of gasoline over her dead husbands grave and torched him and got in her car and drove home. No joke! I always loved that woman!!!!!!!!!!

She probably knew most women do even if they dont' want to admit it. And even if it were not true I would have told him

Well 2 of your children ain't yours either cause I was getting mine and let him die with THAT on his mind.

What a coward but I am sure she had an idea.

Most likely she knew. IMO most women have a idea even if they don't know all the details.

What a trifling man.

What happened after he lived lol?

He hooked up DH (and his sisters) with their brother. DH was about 15 or 16 at the time. His parents were seperated at that time, and that pretty much sealed the deal. The siblings all became pretty close to their long-lost bro. When the bro is around for family functions, which is rare 'cause he lives several states away, their mom cannot stand him and it shows.

A few years after the heart attack, the dad had a stroke and confessed that he had another daughter in DR.
