DDHAIR\'S NEW PICS

Hello,
I just posted some new pictures, they are kind of busted, but it to forever and a day just to do this. Anyway, I tried to comb my hair a little better in the back, because it wasn't curled or freshly wrapped, so it looks a little jacked, but I can tell it will be growing in a V. I wish I had taken pictures when I first got it straightened 3 weeks ago and you would have seen how pretty it was and how full it was and the huge amount of body it had the first week. Plus, for the past week or so, I have been wearing the wig that you see in some of the other pics (with bangs), I bought that wig Christmas Eve. Anyway, for you all wondering how long your hair can stay straightened while transitioning, well let's say this is a record for me, the only reason I didn't wash it before the 2 weeks is so I could take my pictures, so let's say it stays straighter longer and much better during the winter months (if you are in a cooler climate).

PS Please excuse the bra tag, I didn't care after a while I was just tired of the technical problems I was encountering.

Re: DDHAIR\'S NEW PICS

Thanks, I was wondering when I washed it if it was going to kink back up. I really wish I had come to you during that first week, it looked 10 times better. But at this point I had begun using oils and stuff and I was in a really don't care mode.

Re: DDHAIR\'S NEW PICS

You are so pretty . It looks like you have some nice growth going too. I love thae wig I may have to copy that one.Keep up the good work girlie.

Re: DDHAIR\'S NEW PICS

You are such a pretty lady!! Your hair looks shiny and healthy. I used to wear crochet braids all the time, I loved them. But I can't find anyone who does them in my area

Re: DDHAIR\'S NEW PICS

Thank you all for the compliments. I have learned to do the crochet braids myself, even when my braids aren't the best. But usually I have someone cornrow it for me. Ginn1, that wig is even starting to look tired to me, because the first night I wore it, some people thought it was mine (???). Anyway, if I put it on a wig head and took more care of it and actually looked like I was going somewhere I might think otherwise, but girl get you one, because I love the convienence. Digital Rain what part of Louisiana are you in?

Nice wig

looks very good on you. Too bad I don't look good with bangs. I have a question about the crochet braids. What type of hair did you use...wavy, curly, etc.? Do you recall the brand of hair? Thanks

Edited to ask: And how many bags did you use?

I'm in Baton Rouge. I used to live in Jxn, MS and a lady there used to my crochet braids there. I loved them because they didnt damage my hair like regular braids. I don't know how to cornrow, so I definitely couldn't do them myself, unless I get someone else to do it.

Re: DDHAIR\'S NEW PICS

Thanks. I have used wavy and curly hair the last bag I can remember I was using was called Mystikal. I think Beverly Johnson might be good and synthetic hair off of a track that is wavy or curly is good too. I use about 2 or 3 bags, but I'll say about 2 1/2.

Re: DDHAIR\'S NEW PICS

I don't know anybody in Baton Rouge but my cousin and I don't think she does crochet braids. Hmmm well I will be there in October but I am sure that is too long.

Re: DDHAIR\'S NEW PICS

Thanks

One more question, how did you get the curls to stay in after you tied it? I emailed this one salon owner and she said after tying she glued the hair.

Re: DDHAIR\'S NEW PICS

Great pictures, DDhair.

Your hair looks so nice & you're a very beautiful young lady.

I like the "V" in the back. I know some people don't and my stylist cut mine out but I really love it.

Re: DDHAIR\'S NEW PICS

You have great progress, the same type like mine. I know what you are going through with layers. I have those and i can't wait until they grow out.
