Dating the barber

I'm a single mother with a son and daughter, so when it time for my son to get a haircut, I'm the one taking him. Now to the point...My son barber has been flirting with me and during my son last visit, I gave him my number and we hung out, but I'm wondering if I maybe treading dangerous water. He is a very sweet guy but would you holla at your son barber?

I dont think I would do it. Only because my father is a barber, so I have spent alot of time in barbershops and I know firsthand that they meet TONS of women the same way...

look at it this way - you ain't the only mama bringing their boy to the barber and if you gave him your number, I'm sure plenty others have too.....Proceed with caution.

I'll provide the opposite perspective. My friend was in the same situation. She walked into it cautiously and as friends and now they are talking marriage.

It depends on the man. As others have stated, proceed with caution because they do meet lots of women in the shop. Some barbers may be genuine while others may do it just because they can. There's a lot of testosterone flowing in there. Be prepared to find your son another barber because after you go out with him, if it doesn't work out you may feel uncomfortable being in the shop. While I have dated several guys that happened to be barbers, I didn't meet any of them in the shop.
