I disagree - I think Dark and Lovely's formula is drastically flawed. They don't take it off the market - no - but they DO change the formula and packaging every few years.

I used to use D&L Honey Blonde-- it never broke my hair or made it look nasty. I even had to apply it more than once to get the right color. I used it for touch up's also. It's all about maintaining your hair. If it was a horrible product that was tearing up the majority of the user's hair-- it wouldn't be on the market. I used it about 8 years ago & I used it for about 2 years. If you look at my "pictures from the past" on my link, you will see a picture of me with blonde hair. This is the D&L Honey Blonde hair color. pw: goingnatural

Different strokes for different folks. As I mentioned previously I was a high school student. I have fine-textured hair. I had no business using that stuff on my hair. Back then I didn't know squat about haircare plus funds were nonexistent (if you count a weekly $5 allowance). Pricewise D&L was my only option. Maybe now with all the great conditioners/treatments out there you could get away with using D&L, but why take that risk? I surely won't!
