Does anyone know where I could purchase hair flowers? I've noticed them a lot lately and I think they're really simple and cute. Don't have any idea what I'm talking about? Look at motowngirl's hair gallery at the 1st and 8th pictures.

There was a post on this a month or so ago and there were some nice ideas thrown around by Isis and Pookeylou i believe. I think that Pookeylou said that she likes the selection at Deal's (this is a dollar store) and they have LOTS of artificial flowers. Also, you may want to try a craft's store such as Michael's if they have one in your area, they always have lots of aritficial cute flowers and stuff. I'm gonna try to find that old post and bump it up for ya

Aww thanks jainy!
Actually we do have a Michael around here. I'm going to buy some satin or silk fabric from there for scarves and pillow case covers (it's much cheaper!). I'll try to find the post -- thanks again!

I've been looking for them too! I saw some in JCPenny, but they are rather pricey. Going to a craft's store is a good idea. Also, what about Claire's or Icing [stores]...

girl, if u have the time want to save money, go to the craft strore and buy some regular silk flowers(usually around $1 each) in different colors, then u can either do it right and hot glue them to hair pins, etc. or be ghetto like me and slide a bobby pin over the leafy part and put them in your hair like that. To me, its not worth paying $5 and $7 for one these at claires, etc. bc they are a fad and Id rather buy a hair product for that price...lol;) For $5 you could get a few different colors and be on your way. I bought a white one, a pink one, and a yellow one. Im a bargain hunter so Im always finding ways to cut corners.

Actually the Claire's and Michaels are right around each other in my area

I've never heard of Isis before

What type of store is it? Similar to Clarie's?

Shooooot no one has to know how the flowers were put in your head. Ok, a craft store it is!

Innocent, Icing is in the Claire's line of stores I believe...

I get it from my mama....lol:) Im all about saving money! I was brought up finding cute outfits off the clearance racks(the FIRST place I go when I go in any store, including Ross and TJ Maxx), shopping at garage sales and thrift stores(cute name brand stuff for pennies on the dollar!)...

everyone always compliments me on my clothes and I barely ever pay more than $10 for one piece of clothing and accessorize with cute scarves around my waist or in my hair as a headband and basics like black pants or a jean skirt and a cute top, etc. my mom would be proud! lol....

Yup, that's something I need to work on. I don't have patience so the first cute thing I see -- I buy. Later I end up seeing it for a lesser price

Yes that's what I did, I went to the craft store and got big blossom, single stem flowers in different colors for $1 each. I alternate between putting a bobby pin in them and wearing them in my hair, or putting a safety pin in them and wearing them on my shirt
