Hello all,

I went to Curve Salon 3 weeks ago and was quite please with the results. You can view my pics below. Me an my girlfriends had a "Sistagyrl" shoot this past weekend, you have to exscuse my hair looking a tad bit dry- we were on the Brooklyn bridge and that sun damn near fried my hair!

Let me know what you think! Oh, my twin is the girl with the two- strand twist out w/ reddish hair. The other 3 are girlfriends who I grew up with.

Enjoy!

They did a good job. I like it. Did you have to buy any of their products to keep up the style?
BTW, i love ur sistagirl shoot

Your hair looks so cute like that. Do you have to use their products to maintain the softness and look or can you still use what's in your stash?

Thanks for sharing!!!! Your hair looks great!! I've been thinking about scratching my itch and making a visit to Curve (looking for any excuse to get to NYC!

), so why weren't you happy w/the results?

I think it looks very pretty! How long did it take, and how long will it last?

Your pictures looks professional.

Thank you all for your thoughts. I was pleased with what Curves did for my hair, now I just wash it, use the Curly Pudding and go! For those who liked it and complimented the hairstyle, thank you!

Hey Caramel. I used their Curly pudding but as I also saw on a previous post, you can use Loreal Whip Gel, this works just as well as the Curly pudding and much cheaper! (Curly pudding is 28 bucks)The Loreal Whip Gel is no less than $5.00.

i love it...how much do they charge for a perm..i'm natural right now as well...oh..and did i say that i love it!!!

Your hair looks great. It looks like you and your friends had a lot of fun. Go girl!

*running to check my change cup for $5. If I come up short does anyone on the board have some cans or pop bottles that I could take to the store?--it is an emergency.

Hey Shayla, TigerLily and Teshila, thanks for the compliments.

I paid $150 for this "do", not including a $50.00 appointment fee( and yes,I cringe at the price also- toughest $150 that I had to give up).:( But at least I can manage my hair better now!
