Curl Junkie Product Help?

Nuh-uh, because 15% off + an additional 15% off ain't all that great. Now, 20% or 25% + an additional 15% is great.
@PJaye
Yep.

And 30% or 35% + an additional 15% would be even better.

Or 40% - 45% + an additional 15%.

IMO, realistically, considering the Product Line & previous sales/discounts on this particular brand, IMO is a pretty decent discount.:yep:

I'm just saying that I purchased nothing but CJ during Curlmart's previous 25% sale, to which I added the 15% off code. When I was finished, I divided my total by the number of products I'd purchased and saw that it had cost me less than $11.50 per item plus free shipping. Still, to each one's own. Shop on.:toocool:

@naturalmanenyc Ughhhhhh... I just bought stuff yesterday. Why lord?? :cry3:

I have too many hair products in my collection so I didn't buy any Curl Junkie products from CurlMart.com because I don't if they work for me.

2)CoffeeCoco Curl Creme-Lite
3)H&B Honey Butta

Used Curls in a bottle to refresh on Saturday & Sunday. I bought this Sept 2013 lol still a tiny bit left. Curl Junkie lasts so long. Swear I used that a million times.

I saw Curl Junkie products on the ground in Brooklyn (Rickys) but didn't buy anything since I had no idea what to try. I'm doing wash & go styles all summer and trying out various products and combinations. I've tried but don't love any of these: Moroccan Oil Curl Cream under Keracare gel (loved the volume but it felt dry on day 3); Ecostyler clear gel over Shea Moisture Coconut Style milk (crunchy and dry); Perfectly Undone conditioner with Curls Goddess gel (looked and felt dry after 1 day; gel had no slip); Wet line Xtreme gel over Perfectly Undone conditioner (looked stringy; will try this combo again with less gel).

My hair is a combo of 4a tight curls with 2 small sections of 3c curls, normal porosity, fine hair. I prefer a full look over definition. I want a moisturized wash & go that will last at least 4-5 days with some shine.

For the Curl Junkie users, what do you recommend?

I checked YouTube and am thinking about:
Curl Junkie Beauticurls Daily Conditioner (leave in)
Curl Junkie Pattern Pusha Gel
Curl Junkie Curl Queen Gel
Curl Junkie Curls in a Bottle
Curl Junkie Coffee-Coco Curl Creme

I use Curl Junkie but my hair properties are different:
4B, coarse, low-porosity; live in warm, humid climate.

I recommend the Beauticurls Argan and Olive Daily Conditioner with Wetline Xtreme professional gel for a wash and go. It's lightweight but moisturizing. If your hair likes protein & extra hold use the conditioner with EcoStyler clear.

If you need extra moisture try Curl Junkie Curl Rehab Moisturizing Hair Treatment as a leave-in.

Both Beauticurls Argan and Olive & Curl Rehab are protein and glycerin-free. They also have lots of slip.

Curl Junkie stylers don't have enough hold for my hair. They also flaked when paired with gel. Pattern Pusha gel flaked the most.

I haven't tried anything from Curl Junkie yet although my products arrived.
I'm out of town for work for the rest of the week and didn't want to chance it.
I will try them out this weekend though.

Tried out Repair Me (OMG!), Beauticurls leave in and Coffee-Coco Curl Creme (really thick product).
Repair Me shocked me - it has so much more slip than I expected.
I will certainly try the full size when it goes on sale. I had just enough in the sample packet to cover my entire head (.5 oz). Repair Me will likely replace my Komaza Care Protein Treatment.

Really! Is the performance better? Or, is the CR Repair Me just more accessible?

I had instant slip with the Repair Me. It was amazing. I have great slip with Komaza too but the Repair Me was like WHOA! My hair felt noticeably stronger and there was no need to use a moisturizing conditioner afterward (which I also don't need with Komaza).

They are both online (for me at least) since I won't pay full retail locally for Curl Junkie.

My hair is fully dry now and feels very moisturized.

I used the gentle cleansing shampoo (moisturizing shampoo with no suds), Curl Rehab (amazing slip and moisture), Beauticurls Argan & Olive oil daily conditioner (leave in) and Pattern Pusha (new formula) and Curl Queen.

I was able to detangle with just the shampoo in my hair but decided to do a full detangling with Curl Rehab. Lots of moisture and lots of slip. I hate the strawberry ice cream scent but will buy the gardenia scent.

The samples were not enough for one use so I used Pattern Pusha gel on one side and Curl Queen gel on the other. I used half of the Curl Rehab sample and half of the Beauticurls Argan & Olive oil sample. A little goes a long way. Curl Queen is fairly thin but not quite as thin as Curl Keeper. It has more slip and goes on easier than Pattern Pusha (thicker consistency). Neither gel left my hair with any crunch at all and so far no flakes. I'd pick Curl Queen over Pattern Pusha simply because it applies easier.

@shawnyblazes
I finally understand what you mean about the potential to over moisturize using Curl Junkie.
I don't think I could use Curl Rehab as a leave in. I can see my hair getting mushy. It was still pretty moisturized after 4 days but I washed tonight anyway since I didn't want to layer any alternate stylers over the Curl Junkie products I used on Saturday.
