COWBOY MAGIC IS MAGIC!!!!!

Ok, I'm posting this again....

I know there is topic in here on the product, "Cowboy Magic," however, I had to post a thread about it.

I don't know what my hair texture is, but from stuyding this board and learning the different terminology, I would guess a 4B. As some of you may already know, I haven't had a touch-up since May. I had my Senegalese twists installed on July 11. I have at least over 5 inches of new growth. I removed my twists last night and my hair was horrid. Extremely thick, (thanks to some of the products recommended by the women on this thread) to the point I couldn't even comb through it. Well, while I was taking down my twists, I had that "dirt knot" and as you know, it is extremely difficult to remove that "dirt knot."

Well, I purchased the CM product, and I am IMPRESSED BEYOND BELIEF!!! It made separating that dirt knot extremely easy!!!! Seriously!!!!

I removed the synthetic twist from my hair. Then, I applied a small amount of the CM to the dirt knot and massage it in that particular area. Then I gently started from the newgroth and very carefully separated the hair. It separated with NO PROBLEM whatsover. And, to my astonishment, no loss of hair. I can't believe it. Even as I sit here and type this, I still can't believe it. It made taking my hair down very simple, and on top of that, I DIDN'T LOSE ANY HAIR!!!

Tonight, I washed my hair with my MegaTek Shampoo once (I love this shampoo). Then, I deep conditioned my hair with my MegaTek for an hour with heat, sitting under a hooded dryer.) I rinsed my hair no problem. I gently towel dried my hair, and couldn't run a comb through it. Remember, I have tons and tons of new growth, and my hair is extremely thick. I used a wide tooth comb, and I couldn't even get the comb to go through my hair!!! So, with my hair all over my hair, tangled, I applied the CM from root to end. I kid you not, the comb went through no problem, with ease. And no hair loss at all!!!!! This is a must have product for anyone stretching, going natural, removing braids, etc. This stuff works!!!! When I say my hair was tangled and a hot mess, trust me, it was a HOT TANGLED MESS!!!

A little goes a long way. I just massaged it in, thinking I was tangling it even more, but the comb went through no problem. It works on dry and wet hair. And, it smells awesome.

My hair is blow dried out and it is so soft and smells delicious, very soft to the touch with a nice sheen to and the comb glides through with no hesitation whatsoever. The name of the website is www.cowboymagic.com.

Tomorrow, I'am having my weave installed with a method called the Flexistrand method. Go to this site for more information. www.flexistrand.com. I'll let you ladies know how it turns out, and of course, I will submit pics.

I just wanted to share this information with you, in hopes that I have helped someone. Thank you for your time.

I'm glad this worked so well for you! I have some in my cabinet that I can't wait to use when I take my braids out. Looking forward to seeing pics of your weave too!

This product is most definately on my list. I read the first review was in love. This review was the icing on the cake. Thanks for posting this again.

I picked mine up last weekend but I only used it on my dogs hair and it really does work. I cant wait until I take my sew in out and I will use it on my hair. I purchased the detangler, shampoo and conditioner.

OT: Flexistrand is sounding like the truth after watching that video and visiting the website!

I am happy for you and very glad to see another person has discovered how great this product is. Unbelievable how easy CM makes combing out my hair..it's as though there is no such thing as a line of demarcation! I ordered twice from 123 Tack-the delivery from Florida was super fast and it's become my 'hair solution' ordering place. I will be stocking up.

I just ordered some Cowboy Magic! Thanks for the rave reviews. I can't wait to try it!!!!

Thank you for responding, but honestly, I owe many thanks to the ladies of this hair forum. Serioulsy, (I forgot who originally posted regarding Cowboy Magic), I owe a special thanks to whoever referred the product!!! CM is definitely a must have and a keeper, especially for thick hair like mines and for women who are stretching, going natural, etc. It's not expensive and it works!!!!

nope. didnt work for me. picked up some last week and sadly i was disappointed. i only purchased the detangler, and i must say, my fantasia frizz buster wrapped circles around it. i'll stick with my fantasia.

i began using the cowboy magic again, and i find it works best as a sealant. it does work, but not so great to warrant the hefty price tag (paid $16 for mine). fantasia friezz buster is still my number1

oooooooowwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeee now I'm really excited b/c I'm gonna be stretching until late December and my last perm was in June.

bwahaha..... i'm sorry but :lachen: ... cowboy magic? my roommate already thinks i'm crazy, using what she calls "horse ointment" (MT) on my hair... she will think i have totally flown the coop!!

Opps! I forgot to review this product. I got last week and used it twice. It was good! It lived up to the hype! I was skeptical because the first time I used it was on freshly conditioned (SE Olive Moisture) hair and I was not sure if I could attribute the slip the CM. A few days later I used it on dry hair, my NG had already sucked up whatever moisture and my hair was little dry and definitely tangled. Well I squirted some in my hands and ran it through my hair. Let me tell you my hair felt moist, and I was able to condition my new growth! I was so happy, this kept my hair moist and tangle free for a few days. When I combed my hair I lost very few hairs! A little goes a long way too. CM is the biznizz!

I was tryna to hold off on getting this, but since stretching for me is a nightmare, I think I'll try it and see if it works. Thanks for the detailed review TJG!

I asked this question in the other thread but received no response. I'm hoping someone can answer my question.

My question is: Is anyone using the detangler as a moisturizer? Can it be used as a moisturizer? I'm trying to decide whether to get the detangler and the conditioner (currently using Suave Humectant) or the conditioner and shea butter. TIA.

I would LIKE to start using it, but i cant seem to find anyone in Atlanta who sells it. The websites store locator is down

It's not a moisturizer, it contains no water. It's a silicone serum formula.

I still use it and I like it. I massage it on before washing to get rid of tangles. I picked mine up at a feed store. :dork:

I have it and Sabino moisture block and I noticed that they are very similar. They have almost the same smell and consistency. I used cowboy magic and I have no rave reviews but it does help a lil bit.

I purchased the big bottle. I used it to try to detangle my 11 weeks post hair. It was alright. Guess it wasn't magic for me. I will keep using it however, it helps in its own way.
