Could I use a rinse?

I put highlights in my hair about 4 years ago then about 2 years after I decided to dye my hair black but then the highlights turned green , about 2 months after I got it fixed. My question is, would it be a risk to use a rinse? Like will my hair change some funky color again?

I dont think it should you should be fine if its from two years ago

no problem, and i just remembered something that i had read somewhere about highlights turning green like that...apparently that happens when you dont have a toner applied, which is supposed to counter the green or brassy tones you may get from ur highlights so if your hairdresser fixed it, then the tone should be fine. And because the tone is fine applying a rinse, which is like a glaze over your hair should be fine as well. HTH
