i will never again bleach my hair. period.
with that said, when i did bleach my hair i NEVER moisturized. only slapped some african pride oil on my head. my hair was bleached blonde and flat ironed and hot curled damn near daily. never again.

You a plum fool! :lachen:

Never again will I use Frizz Remover from Sally's. That mess made my hair look good for about 5 minutes and damaged it for a good year! it had thio in it... I think it was Jherri Redding? And then my hair wasn't even frizz free.

Never again will I bleach my hair after putting Frizz Remover on it... and then try to use a dark red hair color... No ma'am. I had hair that was all kinds of textures and colors... with all types of funky mess in between. And my hair kept turning colors...

Never again will I cut all my hair off.... dye it red... and cover it with a wig without moisture, protection or a protective style. I would have a hard, frizzy, matted up mess, and I never understood why my naturals would look good.

Never again will I recolorm hair a million shades of red.... within 2 months. I ended up with Irish Spring coppery red.... it was metallic looking. It would have looked nice on someone with a different complexion... (I really wanted.. and still want that red shade that girl in Destiny's Child had).

Never again will I put a HOT flatiron on wet hair... with wet moisturizer. I burned my hair OFF... and smelled it...

Never again will I put double sided tape on my edges to make a lacefront look nice... it took months to get my edges back.

Never again will I give in to creamy crack temptation WITHOUT taking a good look at all my natural maintenance options.

Never again will I let ANYONE walk up and touch my hair, make comments or remarks about my hair... or let anyone try to tell me how to handle my hair.... unless they are a beautiful BSL or lower length... with MY type of hair... or unless I asked them to.

Who tricked you into this craziness? Or did it happen while you were young? I never could get down with that wet to dry flat iron foolishness because of htis right here.

I just got off the plane in Germany and wanted to touch up my hair. I was using the Motions clear moisturizer ( I loved it...) and coated my hair with a little... every other section was fine, but this one... section... I guess I had put too much. Next thing I know, that little section was missing...:perplexed

Oh yea, I will never simply wash my hair and coat it with Vaseline or Baby Oil... and walk out the door like it's okay.... I left grease stains on walls, furniture, everything. :lachen:My then BF was hating me.

I will never do the hallie berry cut again. I was soooo ugly and then I didn't know how to curl it or nothing.

jazzmoods that bob is awesome!

A few days ago I wanted to loosen up my curls just a bit because I hate shrinkage. I read a review on Naturally Curly and someone had great results with baking soda. So I didn't read the recipe or warning. I put the stuff in my hair and didn't feel anything. My goal was to leave it on 1 hour. About 25 minutes later I ran to the shower because my scalp is on fiyah! It felt as painful as a relaxer LOL I had a very sore scalp all day. I even woke up at midnight to shampoo one more time. That was Christmas Eve and my scalp is still a bit sore and itchy as hell. Needless to say I won't do that again. And NO my curls are not looser LOL

Back in April of this year I did the sulfur mix and got 3 huge pimples and a rash on my neck LOL

OUCH! The PJ in us can be painful.....even with simple things like baking soda!!

I will never again bleach my hair white ever again.

The end result was cute but I suffered so bad for it. Burnt scalp and ears, dry crispy (but looked good, thanks :nono: Pink lotion) hair. Oh it was awful.

I will never again flat iron at 450 degrees twice a week without an heat protectant at all and never putting any oil on my hair. I had to go from APL to NL/SL because of that mess.

right, now, i'm feeling like i will never again relax bone straight. i'm really digging the texlax.

never again will i WASH my hair every time it gets wet. i've learned so much here about pre-pooing and co-washing. they have been helpful.

never again will i use heat daily.

that's all i can think of right now. it's late...

Wow! Maybe you have a sensitivity to basic solutions. I wonder what pH your sulfur mix was when you made it in April.

But that's crazy because Baking Soda isn't some new jazz it's something that has been used for a while to clean.

Well, I ma glad you still have your hair.

never will i go long periods of not combing my hair unless it has been shingled w/gel or a heavy product. for some odd reason my hair does not tangle when it has gel or heavy product. when im scant w/ product my hair gets tangled and matted.even in braids or twists. a few times it got so bad i had to cut off my hair

Use phytorelaxer. I got it a few years back, my hair was under processed (in fact I don't think it took at all because my hair looked natural) and I had horrible breakage and shedding for the next few months. Luckily I had LHCF.

Trust ANY stylist with trimming my hair, no matter how long I've been to them. Thought my 3-year stylist knew what she was doing when she suggested trimming to make the ends look better when she pressed my hair... She trims it then says, "You should get it evened out at a beauty shop, I don't know how to trim."

Me: What?!

Not trimming or dusting my hair for over a year and a half. My hair looked horrible. I wll be trimming more often

I will never again use Infusium 23 as a daily leave in condtioner. My hair got a protien overload! :::Breakage:::NightMare:::

I am still trying to nurse my hair back to health, and I stop using Infusium 23 almost two months ago.

I will never wear weaves again period. Good growth but couldn't retain much because I couldn't take care of my hair under the weave. I tried to blend my own hair into the weaves for a natural look and ended up with broken off, short jagged edges. Thank God those days are over!

- I will NEVER flat twist my natural hair again:nono:, it left my hair matted&tangled! (I wonder if two strand flat twists would do the same to my hair?:scratchch)

- I will NEVER go another long period without DCing my hair or wear protective styles

Probably not...if your hair doesn't get matted/tangled from braids...it's just two strands instead of three. My hair has the worst shrinkage every, but two strand flat twists are my friends. :yep:

I will never go Beyonce blonde again. My hair can handle color, but not that light.

I will also never flat iron my hair every day like I used to. I could a maintain certain length, but it would never get beyond a certain point.

I will never, ever, ever take my hair for granted. It grows fast and long but I never covered it @ night, I rarely combed the knots out..i just brushed into ponytail and looked like an old school marm..lol. I will never do that again. I washed it like every month and never DC'd it. I am grateful for the good genes that my parents gave me and I will never do this again. I was a HOT MESS this year.

I will never remove braids then relax in the same day again.:wallbash:
I will never allow someone to convince me that I need a relaxer immediately before installing a sew-in. :nono:
I will not run out and buy a new product because someone mentions it on LHCF.
I will never allow someone to braid my hair too tight (because they say the braids or sew-in will last longer).

I will never abuse my hair again.

I may need to adopt that one too!:nono:

I'll never do the following again - RELAX!

I'll never use the following products - Luster's Pink Oil Moisturizer, Infusium-23 products, hair grease, any moisturizers with petrolatum

Ooh, I got one: I will NEVER pre-poo overnight with raw eggs. I should have been cautious because raw eggs make me sick. Here's the story.

I was a senior in high school and my new Seventeen came in the mail. They had an article about healthy hair care and said if your hair was feeling damaged, try mixing a raw egg in your shampoo or conditioner. They also said for really damaged hair, mix a raw egg with vegetable oil and let it set overnight. When you wake up, wash and you will have beautiful, shiny hair.

So I did that and slept with a plastic cap. When I woke up, I instantly smelled the eggs and saw that the cap had partially come off my head. My brand new satin pillowcase was rock hard with dried egg. I then take the cap off and my hair is just as hard as the pillowcase. And the smell!! OMG!! I thought I was gonna die right there.

I then shampooed my hair like 3 times, but with the nicest smelling shampoo (like Herbal Essences and Pantene), but my hair still smelled like eggs. I then let my mom rollerset it, which took forever because my hair was dried out and brittle because of protein overload. The hair STILL smelled. So I sprayed some perfume in my hair, which covered it a bit but I still smelled it. I guess I'm just sensitive to eggs becuase the last 2 times my mom cooked eggs for me, I threw it up. (she cooks them runny).

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!
