Im tired of complaining about my hair. I dedicate this thread to praises of our hair. Come in and give your hair the positive energy it needs!

My hair is growing and getting better everyday.
Today it looks great despite my verbal abuse :lol:

i'm in love with my hair!!!.. :kiss: .. she does what i ask her to and even surprises me every now and then by doing more than i ask... she gets a gold star for her past 9 months of dedication to me... nah, scratch that - she gets her very own Oscar... :king:

I love my hair, too. I love that thickness that I used to complain about. I love that it has bounced back after each one of my hair downfalls.

I love my hair because it is so thick, it is hard to see my scalp, unless it is braided. I have a lovely hairline, all around. I have great length and shine. And when my new growth comes in, it is soft and curly. :dance7:
 
I love my hair, it really is starting to grow quickly and my hair line is even and filling out nicely!

I love my hair because it is growing so long and is thick and healthy. I should be grateful for this thick head of hair that I have and it's only going to get longer!!

I really love my hair. Becoming natural was such a smart move for me. I love my hair in any style. I love wearing my twists because it shows my lenght really well. I also love my afro puff because I feel like I am channelling my inner Thelma.

Let's see...I love how thick my hair has been getting, and the length...I'm going to be making it to my goal before my personal schedule!:D
 
I love my hair because I am finally seeing a difference in it. No more shedding and it's getting stronger and stronger every day. I should be to my APL goal in no time. :kiss: Yay for me!!! :lol:
 
on jan 27th, i put braids in my hair (that i learned how to do myself! yay me!). i just took them out last night and i achieved 1 inch of new growth! no special sauce, no kooky products. just followed the crown and glory method. it took me 4 months to get an inch before this! and its so thick and surprisingly curly/coily. i only wish it was longer. ok, ok.....all in all, i love my hair!
 
I love playing with my natural hair. I can't keep my hands out my head!!!!! Touching my coils is some unorthodox version of finger sex.

I love my hair because it's thick and it's crawling down my back! My new growth is coily and springy, and I like to play with it. My hair is shiny and healthy, and it loves me just as much I love it. :love:
 
This is a great thread! I really do complain about my hair alot. I love my hair because I didn't take care of it for four years after my BC and it was still good to me! I burned it, cut it, left it braided for months without washing and I still had some hair left over when i decided to start caring for it!
 
Great thread! I'm loving my hair because it has gotten so healthy and moisturized. It has even decided to cooperate w/my vitamin and water intake. I have also been able to stretch w/o no complaints. I just got off a personal braid challenge for 6wks and my hair didn't even shed like crazy. So today I will treat my hair to something special. :)
 
Great thread:D . I love my hair because God specially chose every strand just for me. It's healthy, shiny, thick, and growing longer than I ever imagined. I will be at APL before I know it...then bra strap here we come!!!! :D

I love my hair because it's so soft and curly and strong that I can't keep my hands off of it. :D
 
I've been loving my hair since Sunday when i washed it. Feels soft although it hasn't been moisturized since then. Organic products are working well for me right now :)
I'm going to buy some new vitamins so I can love it more though :lol:
 
I LOVE my hair, and I'm grateful for it (finally!!!!)
Since I stopped relaxing, and now I'm 100% natural, It's grown very fast, it's thick, the colour is lovely and jet black and long

In fact I'm thinking about taking out the weave this week as I'm beggining to see that my hair is just as, or nicer than the weave:lol:
 
Like JCoily, I love playing around in my hair. I'm sure I'm drying the heck out of my hair because I'm playing in it so much. I am thankful that my hair, even after all the damage and disrespect I've shown it, has nerve to be coily and curly and kinky and beautiful.
 
I love that my hair is so healthy and thick, kids at my school are asking other teachers if my hair is a weave. I guess that means I'm doing a good job. :lachen:

I love my hair right now because it allows me to stretch my relaxers to 20 weeks. In the past I would run out and get a relaxer at the first sign of new growth which was about every 8 weeks. Now I am in love with my new growth and I can't stop touching it.

I am in love with my hair because, although it takes A LOT of TLC, I am very happy with the progress that I made thus far. It's so soft and fluffy and easy to comb at 16 weeks post relaxer. I love it:) :) :)
 
I love my hair because my hair journey has taught me to love ME. I love my hair because it's versatile and sexy and weird..like me LOL. I love my hair because I can wear it in an afro or curly or straight. I love my hair because it is all mine. I love my hair because in searching to grow my hair healthy and long, i've met a great bunch of ladies and thru this journey i've learned how to better treat my body and my skin.

I love my hair because it is so much thicker and healthier since I began texturizing. My hair is soft and growing nicely.
