I have updated pics in my fotki. I only have 5 more inches to go to reach my final hair goal. Anything after that will be lagniappe:grin:

Your hair is purty. I think you will be there in no time. What is your length now? I wanna say MB but I'm not sure.

TIA,

Tanya

Thank You ladies! I really appreciate the encouragement:grin: Sometimes when your a natural it's easy to get discourage because of shrinkage. You never really have a clue how long your hair is:sad:

Hothair my regimen is very simple:

*STEP ONE: Shampoo

I use the Aveda Detoxifier 1-2 times per month. The rest of the month I condition with a cheapie (suave coconut).

*STEP TWO: Deep condition

After washing my hair I will apply some olive oil and sit under the hair steamer for 15-20 minutes.

*STEP THREE: Condition & Detangle

Next I get back in the shower and rinse the olive oil with warm water. I will apply the Palmer’s coconut milk to detangle. To detangle, I make sure that my hair is some what saturated with the palmer’s milk (awesome detangler for wet/dry hair). I use a wide-toothed comb to detangle section by section. I detangle starting from the bottom, working my way up. Then sit under mildly cold water, just to seal the leave in palmer’s milk. Don’t rinse it out; just let the cold water hit your hair for a couple of seconds.

*STEP FOUR: Bun it or slick it back into a ponytail.

Lastly, I put pure avocado butter (camdengrey.com) in my hair. I notice that this is the best slick down product for my hair. My hair feels super moist the next day. It’s something about putting this butter on wet hair that makes my hair feels super duper condition when it’s dries. Next I add a little GIOVANNI DIRECT LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER and pure coconut oil (camdengrey.com). The last steps then, are to either bun it or slick it down with a Denman brush. When I get out the shower, I tie it down immediately with a satin scarf for about 20 minutes.
After washing my hair I will apply some olive oil and sit under the hair steamer for 15-20 minutes.

I hope this helps!
