Right? I have hair vitamins and the main ingredient is collagen...I'm wondering if this is the case then I don't have to do protein treatments topically since I'm ingesting them internally?

Or would protein treatments on the hair itself still be necessary to "fill in" damged gaps?

I would also think that the protein "on the hair" would also strengthen it and prevent damage as well...

If your hair seems strong and healthy and is not breaking, then there would be not need to do protein treatments. But if it is weak and breaking, then protein treatments may help you, regardless of you're taking internally.
