I want to add a some length to my ponytail with clip-in extensions. Anybody have suggestions for how many tracks I should add? I don’t want to spend a lot on hair since I’m in the “experimental” stages, but anyone have suggestions on what type of hair to buy?

I usually buy one pack of hair (Princess Yaki Hair) because its thick and even though its not alot you can cover your whole head with one bag. I buy the clips and sew them on myself so I can customize how "thick" or how "long" I want the tracks. For the very top (if I have a part) I will make those with only one track attached to the clips. For the middle I usually use two tracks sewed together. I never use more than five tracks this way.
