I've seen CLEAR RINSES, does anyone know what the benefits are?

They add shine and softness to your hair. I use Jazzings and Clairol Shine Happy.

When is it the best time to use these rinses?

I started using a demi color (either clear, color or both) after every relaxer. I use Wella colorcharms. In the beginning I used it because my hair would be horribly lifeless after relaxing. Using a demi after seemed to help not be so blah feeling. Once I started using phyto relaxer I found I didn't have to use a rinse directly after, but I still do it because i'd rather just get it all done in one day if I can.

So I now use a demi color every 6 weeks which attributes quite a bit to strength and shine.

Sebastian Colourshines is awesome! I did a Copper rinse with this brand at my last relaxer and it was beautiful. It has no alcohol, no peroxide, no ammonia. It has protein and lots of conditioning agents in it.
