Cleansing Scalp with alcohol

I just got my hair box braided without extensions <font color="orange"> </font> and plan to leave them in for 1 month but I have to find a way to cleanse my scalp. the stylist told me that she doesn't recommend that i wash it because it would make my hair frizzy but to put soem alcohol on a cotton and cleanse my scalp with that and then oil it after doing that to put back in the moisture. Is this good advice? Since I heard that apple cider vinegar cleanse the scalp I was going to put that in a spray bottle and spray it on my scalp, then spray soem water over it.What to do??

That doesn't sound good to me!!! I would use witch hazel before I would use alcohol. But, did you know that Hazelnut Oil and Walnut Oil have astringent properties so they would be good for that particular task. I got mine at fromnaturewithlove.com

Use plain old sea breeze or ORS Herbal cleanse. I'm doing this right now between typing because I'm too lazy to deal with washing my braids.

i agree sea breeze is the best way to cleanse your scalp between washes stay away from the alcohol!!!!!
