Thanx ladies ;) I had a mixed of comments the other day when I went to school. My classmates thought my fro was really cute, and I got alot of compliments. One of my instructors I guess was shocked, because she didnt say anything, and she's usually very vocal w/ me.
On the other hand, my family and friends HATED IT!! They called me all kinda names, fron Kizzy to Flo Evans from GoodTimes, :grin: . I took the comments in stride though. I didnt expect positive comments from them exspecially my sister and close friend.
My one friend told me it made me look older than I am. And that that Afrocentric look is NOT my personality.
My sister just said I looked ridiculous, and I need to slap some corn rolls in my head :lol: .
My dad liked it. He helped me cut the relaxed ends off. He was happy to share in the experience w/ me because he know it was something I had been going back and forth w/ for awhile. He said more women should have the courage I showed and go natural.
Im just happy to be completely relaxer free.

Heck, if we lived our lives to please everyone else, we'd all look like Halle, Bey or Jlo, so to heck with the people, who are showing you no love.

go on wit yo bad self! I think yr twa looks great! I can't wait to be natural myself. I'm transitioning for a few months to get a bit more new growth, then I'll bc.
 
Congrats!!!!!!!! I didnt realize you were transitioning. I'm glad your dad is standing by you. Having just his support will make a big difference. Your hair looks great, it has a great shape and looks like you had it professionally cut. Great job!! :)
