One of the main reasons people enjoy Chl/Spr is their protein content. Spr has more protein than Chl. They compliment each other in that they help each other work. Spr is a blue/green algae, whereas Chl is a green algae. Both are Superfoods. Because they are foods you can't really over do it.
You should also know that those with thyroid issues should not take Spr. I know the original Chl post is long, but the start of the thread does cover the basics including the most important do's and don'ts, it's really worth the read.
