Anyone use both? Which do you prefer? I have the Aphogee but I'm going to TJ Maxx during lunch today and thinking of trying the Chi. I mostly air-dry but I might start rollersetting so I'm wondering if the Chi is better for that than the Aphogee.

Thanks ladies

To each to their own.

I have both. I liked aphogee especially for flat ironing but it left my hair with a coated feeling. Like when I would use a moisturizer or co wash, it felt as if it could not penetrate the hair shaft. I never had that issue with the Chi mist. It made my hair feel softer and it smells better IMO. I haven't flat ironed in a while so I haven't use the Chi when flat ironing. But when air drying my hair is soft and I have no issues with applying moisturizer afterwards.

The Aphogee must be stronger/heavier protein because the first time I used it, I sprayed too much and my hair felt stiff/harder. Nothing drastic, it's just a noticeable difference between the two products because i go crazy when I use the Chi. I like to use Chi Keratin Mist after co washing.

*Edit*
Oh, I just realized you were referring to the Aphogee leave in. I personally wouldn't replace your leave in for keratin mist. Like ppg said, they work differently.

I think it would be better to compare Chi Keratin Mist to Aphogee green tea and kearatin mist.

The Aphogee provitamin leave in works differently than the green tea kearatin spray. That is just my opinion.

I use both Aphogee sprays and the react differently on hair.

Other ladies have listed good results using the green tea keratin mist for heat styles. hopefully they can chime in for you.

I agree @ bolded ...I use both the aphogee pro-vitamin leave in and the aphogee keratin/green tea when doing my rollersets...

If I were to use the Chi I would probably use the pro-vitamin leave in conjunction with it...

They are both excellent products, but to me they are used differently. Aphogee GTR is better on wet, clean hair out of the shower, let it sit, damp out or air dry, then do your blow out and flat iron and you will have the shiniest, softest, strongest feeling hair.

The Chi KM is used daily on the hair and ends to keep it strong. It comes out in a light mist and has that characteristic "Chi" smell...love it.

I have both. I do not use the Aphogee everyday. The Chi I sometimes do.

If you want to see what Aphogee can do for your hair, see Ateyaaa's first you tube video.
