what heat setting do you use? what heat protectant?

really? thats odd. i havent opened mine yet, so i didnt know that  what if it gets too hot?

Mines doesn't have any heat settings either. The heat protectant that I use right before flat ironing is dudley's creme press (just a dabb though) hth

Mine has no heat setting either, it goes to 360 (I think). I use Beyond the Zone's Turn up the Heat before flat ironing.

The Chi Turbo has heat settings.

I usually use it a little below half way and I use a variety of things for heat protectant..usually whatever floats my boat: headress, rusk sensories smoother, coconut oil, etc.

I have the one without a heat setting too. I'm still looking for a heat protectant without alcohol. Matrix dried my hair out.

I also have the one with heat settings and I keep it at 300 degree Farenheit. For heat protectants I use Farouk silk therapy, redken smooth down heat glide ( rarely) and a leave in conditioner (Elucence MB).
