Check out the Essations website

After I read the post today about the protien treament I decided to look up the website. They really look like they have good stuff. They have snippets about the research and science that goes into their different lines. Check it out. http://www.essations.com/

I did a search, and I didn't really find any reviews or anything on here. Any info, ladies? While the website was very detailed, they layout was annoying (overlapping words, unorganized, etc). I also had to search too hard to find all of the products. Maybe I should tell my pjism to go away this time?

I've tried the Moisturizing Sheen Conditioner, Positive Charged Conditioner, and the Moisturizing Shampoo.

Save your money, all of the products were just average at best. The Moisturizing Sheen Conditioner was gooey and not very moisturizing at all. The ingredients are similar to Motions Moisture plus or Keracare Humecto, but it felt like I was applying "whipped grease" to my hair. The Positive Charged Conditioner wasn't very memorable, and there is nothing really moisturizing about the shampoo.

I recently purchased and tried the Detangling shampoo, the Positive charged conditioner, the creme shine and the Sheen (silicone spray). I had positive results from all the products I tried.

Any more reviews? The pj bug has bit me once again! I'm pretty sure I'll be decided against this one, but I was still curious! TIA!

I love the Essations moisture sheen conditioner. So far that's the only thing I've tried.

It gives a slightly different feel to the hair that I do like (not greasy for me) however the Keracare Humecto is similar.

I think the Motions (only in the tub) is similar but it's been awhile since I've used it.

I've never seen the soy products. I think that's something new.

The only thing I have used by them and I will continue to use is the Hair Mender. It really helped when my hair was shedding like crazy!

Hair mender is a protein conditioner? LOL, I've heard ya'll talk about that, but my dumb butt was thinking it was a tool. Uh, like, uh Splitender . Don't tell anybody!!

Thanks for your response, Jasmin. Okay, MMP is half the price (well, actually less than half). I'm pretty much through with Humecto. Uh, no thanks, Essation :nono:!

Aight, I was totally set on buying the Hair Mender. B/c I'm purchasing on-line, I was trying to maximize what I purchased to justify shipping charges-- I was gonna go ahead and try some other things from the line. Well, I was headed back to the website to read about them and the domain name expired. I'm pretty sure that is not a good sign :nono:...

It sure isn't:nono:

Dang. I guess we better leave them alone, lol! I still may get the Split End Mender since it's been tried and true, so to speak...

Any other experiences with Essations? I am interested in getting the conditioner. The stylist used it on my hair at the salon, and it provided good slip; my hair felt soft and MOISTURIZED for like the second time in my life.

Anyone ever use their Naked line? Went to a hair show in Orlando last weekend and saw them. They have a temp (2-3 wk) keratin like treatment. Anyone have any info on it?
