Changing Relaxers

How can I go about changing relaxers successfully? I can't afford to have anymore hair falling out

. I am using African Pride now but my perm doesn't seem to last but 2-3 weeks. Could it be because my hair is short? oh well.

It could be one of two things: underprocessing or using the wrong relaxer strength.

You can try a different relaxer in a different strength.

I bought the affirm online from the link that was posted. I thought I would try it since so many people rave about it.

That is an awesome relaxer.

ihave short hair also and you can tell sooner when you need a touch up, but not within 2 or 3 wks. I use the affrim mild and I do conditioner rinses. Did you get the 5 n 1 reconstructer by affrim? What strength did you get?
