Cathy\'s conditioner- homemade

For those who have the older versions of Cathy Howse's book. Please post up the exact recipe for me. Thanks!

Re: Cathy\'s conditioner- homemade

This was from an old post from Tebby I believe. I just cut and paste. Here you go:

Here it as Tebby posted it in post

6 oz. reconstructive conditioner (I like ION)
1 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup olive oil
2 teaspoons of peppermint oil
Get a big container to store it in and be careful not to use too much
peppermint oil because it can burn.

I love this conditioner and use it at least once a week. Oh, and sit under a
hood dryer with it if you have one.

Tebby

Re: Cathy\'s conditioner- homemade

Thanks tara!!

The reconstructive conditioner- I have motions CPR and ORS hair mayonnaise. Are these OK or is the CPR too strong and the ORS too weak in terms of protein content??

Re: Cathy\'s conditioner- homemade

gives the scalp or skin a burning sensation (tingling) but i guess it will actually burn and cause damage if a high concentration is used. like pepper on the tongue, it depends on how much you eat

Re: Cathy\'s Dew- homemade??

Does Cathy also give a recipe for Dew in the earlier edition of the book?? if not it actually seems pretty easy to make, distilled water, loads of hair polisher, essential oil (jojoba, coconut etc), emulsifier

Re: Cathy\'s conditioner- homemade

Thanks pandora, that's a lovely quote on your..... profile signature? ( You know, that thing at the bottom)

Re: Cathy\'s Dew- homemade??

I would be interested in this as well Pandora. I wonder what quantities of each element we would use..?

Re: Cathy\'s Dew- homemade??

Thnks Pandora...I figured her "stimulant" was peppermint EO....her moisturizer is coconut oil.

This one shouldn't be too difficult to copy at home.
