Hi Ladies,

I currently have my hair braided in extensions and I was thinking of trying castor oil on my scalp ..I have the Palma Christie one its a light yellowish color.

However, once I finally decided to use it and poured a bit on my finger I was like euuuuhhh...because its thick and sticky icky icky.

So, I would like to know anybody used castor oil on their scalp and did not encounter build up w/o cowashing or pooing everyday??

Also, I would like to know how do you use castor oil?

Thanks in advance ladies,

Casarela

I use a teenie lil bit on my edges after I spray with my rosewater/glycerin mix. It's helping them to catch up with the rest of my hair.

I use castor oil mostly on my wet hair. I wash and condition... apply leave in then seal with castor oil. I usually put it in pigtails then slap a silk scarf to hold down the beady beads. lol. It'll make your hair very soft. It's thick and gloopy but when it dries .

I think it might be a bit much on your scalp with braids... unless you dilute it with another oil maybe? evoo? I don't know. But it's goot schtuff. :)
