Caste System and Christian Relationships

My stepfather's from Nepal and they have a caste system like India does. I'm wondering since He and my mother(who is black) are in the same caste system careerwise. If I'm 30 and unmarried stepdad's gonna have to do the arranged marriage thing. I I know I wil be of a diffrent caste because I am teaching. He'll have to be Christian of course but I'm wondering how that works.

I confess I do not know much outside what he has told me. But I'd marry someone like him, a business man or a doctor, or like me a teacher or a social worker. But I'd be forbidden to marry below or two caste above that. But He's a Christian. I'm not entirely sure how it applies. But I do wonder lol.

Usually people are born into a caste. Since you are not Nepalese, I don't think it would apply to you. Also, why do you think he would arrange a marriage for you?
