I understand wanting a change, but change for the better. Its like she couldn't make up her mind "should I be bald" or "should I have hair, "I cant decide I should do both!" I agree that she should have shaved her whole head it would have been a change but it would make sense and that hair could go to someone in need of it. If it was someone with more of an edge like Pink, or Kelis then I would still be like "that was a drastic change" but at the same time it would be more believable. I do recall Pink actually shaving the sides of her head one time and she had hair on top but it fit her personality so it was no shock.

What's funny is I like it on her..plus..if she does like that girl did on Split Ends (hair show on Style Network), she could just simply pull the other half over and you would never know..Punk rock by night...diva by day...Would I cut my hair like that..probably not! But it suits her!

I have no idea who Cassie is, but when I first saw the picture all I saw was the shaved part and wondered why someone would do that. Then I took a second look of her overall appearance and now I really think that looks really good on her. She seems like she has the personality and confidence to pull off such a dramatic look. However, I would never do that to myself. I wouldn't be able to pull it off.

Wait a minute, is this the same Cassie that did a song with Diddy and has a song called "me and you"? If it is, what happened? lol She didn't seem like she would be the kind of person to go to such an extreme.

I think all that BS she said about change and looking like a rockstar is pure BS... To me, it's a marketing and management idea to insist that she's changed and is edgy now so draw people to her because she's coming out with something new. You can rewrap a package, but it can be the same ole junk on the inside... A hair cut isn't what makes a person edgy or a rockstar... It's usually their talent that does that, and we've all seen that she's lacking in that area... Most of us know that she totally bombed teh last time, and the girl just can't sing. A new hair style and pretending you're someone you're not but trying to look so isn't going to make you sing any better. Unfortunately, younger generations will fall for the look versus the lack of singing, and she might just make it. Soemtimes it really is all about looks, well, forgive me, MOST of the time it really is all about looks.. If people are busying looking, they wont notice she can't sing worth a ham... It's funny that these kids go around thinking that adopting an "i dont give a f" attitude is somehow spiteful to everyone, when in reality, they spite themselves. Nobody cares whether you cut yoru hair off to not give an f or not, you cut your own hair off, not someone else's, which would actually spite them if they woke up bald on one side! lol! This "i dont give an f, i'm going to cut my hair off, or flip everyone the bird when i see them," or other seriously stupid behavior we've seen and done ourselves when we were young is nothing new. For some reason, every generation of teen or young adult feels they need to do something to pave their own way or make a statement, or take control of their own lives. For us women, sometimes it's cutting our hair off, LOL... We usually regret it later.. But she's young, she'll figure it out at some point, hopefully.. Soem of you are right, being bald doesn't make every girl look like a boy, but for her, it does. I said that when I saw it, I was like she looks masculine for some reason. Anyways, I'm sure it will get her the attention she wants. She doesn't have to have some philosophical explanation for it either, cause those of us who know better know that's just hogwash... Anyways, cheers to you, Cassie... I'm sure you still can't sing though....
