My hair is about your length, or a bit shorter, I do not claim APL because it does not reach my APL in the front. Some people judge from the front others from the back.

My rule of thumb is if someone were to describe my hair, they would describe it as shoulder length not APL because it isn't APL in the front

Your hair does look very thick and healthy and it is an even length all around so if you aren't APL in the front you will be soon

In my honest opinion I don't consider it arm pit length based on what I see. But thats just "my" opinion. It's your hair, do you! We all have different logic on what is/isn't a certain length.
