Hello Tonya,

I just had the priviledge to view your album. I was so ohhh and ahhh at your braid out. Can I please have your regimen for braidouts?!. What do you do for upkeep? Dang, I just at ohh and ahh at your albums!

***Looking around with big eyes**** Who me???

Braid outs...one of the styles I can do rpetty good. I just wash and condition my hair. Then I allow my hair to airdry about 60 or 70% once my hair is almost dry...I put a serum (like John freida or Keracare silken seal) on my hair and I shoose my setting agent. I usually chose soemthing foamy or cremey so hair does not get too wet. Then I do cornrows to the back of my head...diagonaly they way I want my hair to lay. I put my fantascia IC aloe vera gel around the edges so that they first half an inch is not braided but slicked down (helps hair lay better and looks more natural). Then I put a green rod at the ends and sit under the dryer for 30 minutes then go to bed. When I take then down the next morning...I put oil on my hands as I unravel then so that they don;t frizz. I usually slepe in a satin cap. And whenever I handle the hair after it has been taken down I put oil on my fingers to combat frizziness. HTH.

Thanks! I am going to attempt this on tomorrow night. I will let you know how it goes. You also had a picture with color in your hair. That color is YOU! It looks cute!

Thanks ladies...hopefully this MTG will give me some updates since I just had this little set back. Seems like I have one once a year now.:(

You are very talented with the braid outs! I'm going to try your method which is probably better than mine (wash, condition, braid & take out 2hrs later lol).

I ALWAYS love going to Tonya's album! She does an awesome braid-out!
