So what hair growing "secrets" have you picked up on since frequentin the Dominican salons? What are those "mysterious-no-label-outta the bucket-miracle" products their using?

1. Aveda sap moss pre-treat! I'm on it, whats next?:driver:
:poke: Come on ladies, give up the goods........please:)

The only things I've noticed is that my salon uses Razac Finishing Creme and/or Pantene Extra Liso before the blowout. Not too much of either product is used, so the result is a blowout that isn't weighed-down with product.

KUZ RECONSTRUCTOR, ORS oils and a "mixed in the supply closet" powdered black hair color which lasts and lasts; keep asking, they only say "designer, Mami, designer?!? " Next trip I'm going to know.:look:

Hi HERicane10,

I've only been to one dominican salon and the I saw that they use a lot of Nexxus products along with Aveda. The one thing that I know is that dominican salons use a lot of Nexxus, Aveda, Sebastian, Alter Ego, Salerm and a couple others. Everywhere I've search, the salon always mentions these products.

HTH:)

Nexxus products, Silicon MIx, KUZ reconstructor...there was ORS olive oil sheen spray, too...ther ewas some kind of "secret" creamy leave-in type stuff that they applied before they rolled me. :look:

can't forget the Asante' oil

Oh how could I forget:grin: I'm sooo in love with this oil. My hair has never been so light and moisturized at the same time. I thought I couldn't use another oil with this, but I find that my ends are exceptionally dry and needed a little more umph!! So I started using my pure coconut oil on my ends and to my surprise the coconut oil is just as light as the Asante oil. Their working perfect for me today.
