Do you shampoo after the DRC-28 or simply rinse it out? :perplexed

When I simply rinsed my hair was breaking. When I shampooed after it, the results were immediate. I can't remember what my old stylist did.

Thanks!

I want to know too, cuz I have been eyeing this stuff FOREVER! I wonder if it is worth the money?!

It is a strong protein treatment. My stylist has used this on my hair when I had breakage, but I don't remember whether she just rinsed or shampooed it out.

That's the thing, not only is it NOT sold on line, you won't even find it at the DudleyQ's website.

It cost $50 and can be found at BSS in Brooklyn .

I have been using it for 2 years consistently with good results.
I always rinse it out and follow up with a moisturizing conditioner as directed on the bottle like Elucence or Lust I never shampoo it out.
Dudley DRC is the best heavy duty protein I have ever use my hair seems to be strengthen immediately.
I use a clarifying shampoo before using DRC to get rid of build up I want the full effect of the product.

This is the heaviest protien out there and should immediately be followed up with a good moisturizing conditioner. It has been my staple for the past 9 years -- I help me through blonde highlights -- What a story that was..anyway...It works great, just dont use it too often like every other month or once a month. Great Stuff!!

It is so hard to get a hold of because Dudlly is really serious about not breaking the distribution chain..They dont want to put the stylist out of business so they only sell to licenced cosmotologists who charge big time for this treatment.

If you get it, it is really on the black market cost is about 35 marked up to 45 -50 because they know it is impossible to get anywhere else!

I was lucky when I first joined the board and my family bought it from a BSS in NY for 35 dollars I had two bottles.
My BSS sell it for 70 Bucks and I am not paying over 50 for this product.

You can purchase this at www.bargainside.com, but it is sold out right now. Also check Asian BSS's I have seen the DRC in stores in my area.

I wouldn't pay $50 bucks for it, unless I had a sample, test trial run and new it definately would work, LOL.

I already know this product works on my hair from paying 15 dollars at the hair salon.
I will pay 50 bucks for the results I recieve with DRC 28.

I agree with Labett. The key here is that you must clarify beforehand and after you rinse, use a good moisturizing conditioner and leave in for at least 10-15 minutes. I know the bottle recommends that you follow up with Dudley Hair Rebuilder, but I follow up with typically a conditioner mix of Lekair cholesterol and another moisturizing conditioner like Humecto.

B/c it is such a heavy protein treatment, you MUST follow with some good moisturizing. I love it, and you can get it at bargainside or Ibeautyny. Yeah that 50 price range is high at Ibeauty, but it reallly lasts a long time. Depending on how often you do that type of heavy protein treatments, it could last you about 2 years.

Hi Ladies,

I do not use Dudleys DRC...but I know that this products is available all over Brooklyn, in almost every beauty supplystore.

In Baltimore you can purchase it in Owings Mills Mall at Beauti's Beauty Supply Store for about $48 bucks. Plus there is a christian beauty salon beneath the store which offers DRC treatments.

I think it is... a good friend of mine gave me some and it really turned my neglected hair around...

That's the thing, it really does. My hair is fine and once I hit shoulder I start getting massive breakage, by incorporating it in the past I was able to move forward, each time I stopped, my hair went back to the bad cycle.

Also, it allows me to use a curling iron because my hair is so much stronger. Honestly, it is the only treatment that gives me long hair so I plan to use it once a month for 1 year as I try to get past shoulder length.

Thanks for all the info ladies!
