Braizilan blowout...how to video

Why go to so much trouble just to straighten the hair...mask and all! My hair dress can straighten my hair without that much trouble, minimal products with same results and more shine to the hair! Probably for a little less then they are changing.

It seems bogus to me. If I deep condition my hair (it's natural 4a), blow it out, put some heat protectant on it, and flat iron it in little sections --10 times each, I'd have the same results. If the product is chemical free, safe, and natural, why is she wearing gloves, using a fan to blow away fumes, and recommends wearing a mask? Also, I've seen domincan blowouts that gives better results.

ETA: I really do like that comb she was using. I'm adding it to my wish list .

It it not a natural product at all . My co-worker said his wife had it done in the woodlands (Houston) and she woke up the next morning all swollen and red. He said that it has all kinds of chemicals in it.It has this one chemical that is used for de-icing airplanes .I was intrested in this but I guess I will pass.

Wow with all the equipment needed I swore they were about to perform surgery. I felt sorry for her hair....that's a lot of stress on the hair with all that combing and brushing and then heat?!! She better not come nowhere near my hair!! :axehunter:


I think I'll stick with the Dominican blowouts.

i opened the thread b/c of the title but the video is actually a BKT not a blow out how to.

a real blow out does not involve chemicals or BKT.

the tools and techniques shown are how some stylists do a blowout minus the dual flat irons and 450% heat.

YEA. Maybe you can flat iron spanish hair 10 times per section...but I'd slap my hairdresser if she tried that mess.

And what's up with the pulling and yanking of the hair when she was combing it WET?

I guess I don't get it. It doesn't contain chemicals, but you need a fan for ventilation and a mask? Hmmmm.... this sounds fishy to me. I thought the clients hair looked better after the blow dry.

Umm, yeah...that is VERY FISHY. I don't buy it either!
