(Already posted for my RT ladies).

I did ApHogee's Keratin 2 minute reconstructor this weekend, b/c I needed protein. (I didn't follow directions...at all :look:- but it came out incredibly soft and really shiny. I was pleased since my hair had been very dry/rough for a minute and conditioners/dc's weren't all that effective).

I don't blow dry before braidouts, I just brush out, then braid.

After the ApHogee treatment I used avocado butter and a little Apricot kernel oil on my ends. I don't really use hold products, because I don't like too much hold in braidouts/twistouts, I like them more worn/swollen.

The last few pics are after a couple days, and exposure to humidity.

My 4 yr. natural nappiversary is Sunday.

Gorgeous braidout!

So when you say "brush out" do you just brush to detangle?, brush down to smooth? and what kind of brush do you use?
