I had almost a full bottle left over after some cornrows and I didn't want to waste it. For awhile now, I've been using braid spray on my roots, the length of my hair and on the ends before putting it up in a bun. I love the moisture it gives me  Does anyone else do this to their loose hair?

I work with a lady who uses braid spray on her two youngest granddaughters. She says it does an excellent job at detangling their hair. Hell, even I use braid spray for tangles and moisturizing my hair after I remove extension braids with great results. :)

What braid spray is it Caramela?
Does it leave your hair feeling gummy like Scurl?

 No, girl. It doesn't feel gummy. I am using African Royale braid spray. I do wash 2x a week so I don't really notice any build up. I like it.

Thanks Caramela ;)

i used to do this. it gave my hair tons of moisture and it has a great smell to it.

I have used them as leave-ins and to roll my dry hair. I would put a little on each piece with some moisturizer and roll my hair before bed. But, I don;t think they are all created equal.

Oh yes, this is a hit with me. It's on my Aug. hits list. I use the ORS Natural Shine that has coconut oil.

I also use a non spray braid oil. Yaky Braid Oil. That one has every good oil imaginable. I don't know how I didn't discover this before, but I'm glad I have now.

You just gave me all the reason to buy this! I have been wanting to buy that for a while now!

I use African Pride braid spray on my hair. It does a good job moisturizing, but it is a little sticky. I may have to give African Royal a try.

Caramela-always wanted to ask you are you relaxed or natural?

I've been using braid spray (african pride) to detangle my hair for the past 2 months now. I'm trying to do a six month relaxer stretch and the braid spray is really crucial when it comes time to detangle...especially when I'm putting in more braids :D .

thanks for bringing up those products...

i didnt have success with UBH dew spray so I am still looking for a daily moisture spray. I was thinking about trying the African Pride

I've been using Palmer's Olive Oil Spray. It says its for softening hair while in braids but I think its for any hairstyle because it is not watery but more of an oily mist but it really softens my hair.

I was using African Pride Peppermint Braid spray and tried African Royal for the first time and I like it better than African Pride moisturizes and smells better.

I am barely relaxed... I use a mild motions relaxer and leave it in just as long as it takes to apply it. My hair is very thick so it helps it to be manageable.
