Braid Out Gone Bad

I need help ladies. So for some reason, lately my hair doesn't wanna stay put in a braid out style. I used to do braid outs and they would come out fly, nowadays they just come out flat and a i look like a poof ball mess. What are you ladies doing to make your hair stay in a braid out style? How does it not fall flat?

Is it time for a clarifying shampoo... you may need to try that

I am natural and wear lots of braid outs and twist outs. I know that when my hair needs to be clarified my hair will not hold a braid out or twist out well. For me it is also important that I make sure my hair is completely dry before undoing the braids or twists.

I re-braid my hair at night to look fresh in the morning.

My braid outs look fine so long as I leave them in at least overnight...the longer I leave them in the more defined/longer lasting the results
