DRIED OUT BRAID OUT

Hey ladies, can anyone tell me a good product to use to keep my braid outs moist and shiny? Im lovin these natural thing and am on a month by month challege of no heat but my braid outs get so dry. The products im using to rebraid every night are the Afro detangler by Gro afro hair long website, (which does a great job detangling) and LUSTERS PINK GLOSSER. Im wondering if they had added alcohol to this product. Anyway I heard Asha's Products are Good and Carol's Daughter. ANy recommendations? I have shoulder length 4a/b hair. THANKSSSSSS

Use an Oil to seal them in at night. (I have so many I cant just really say use this or that one but Coconut Oil has never done me wrong) Make sure you use a good moisturizer. Mine always come out pretty. I also use no heat. You can look in my ablum at my oils. (I just added products to the album and still need to finish labeling some of them but oils are done.) Password is in my Profile.

Hope that helps.

**I have that pink glosser you are talking about that only add some shine and nothing else. You need moisture to to keep it from drying out.**

A creamy leave should help your hair stay moist. I have also used Scurl which worked well also.

My braid-outs stay the moistest, when I have been braiding with garnier soft curl cream. Another good idea is to use a gel with glycerin. The final thing that helps me is Qhemet's olive and honey hydrating balm. It'll make my hair softer without me adding extra water, but it works best when I mist my hair with water...then put that stuff on and retwist while the twist-out resets itself.

I always do my braidouts using Herbal Essences Replenishing Conditioner (pink bottle). It makes my hair smooth and shiny.
