Reggie for me. I was washing and flat ironing bi weekly. Found out that was killing my ends with splits. So I stopped and for one week went back to co washing. That did not last long lol. Though when I do co wash i do it a little differant. I deep condition for at least 1 hour than rinse out the conditioner and do a second rinse.
Really I have only been bunning and washing bi weekly.
On those weeks that i don't bun I will air dry in a ponytail than do a dry flex rod set . Or a braid out that is still put in a high pony tail. Some times I will also use the flex rods to do a type of dry wet set.
A small tip to those with Caruso's try setting with Aloe Vera juice mixed with water in the bowl. I did that and my set came out baby soft.
My products are
Shampoo: ORS Creamy Aloe or baking soda
Deep conditioner : Biolage Hydratherapie Balm
Co washing conditoner: Aussie moist as a rinse out conditioner this suck. I have to let it sit.
Protein: Aphogee 2 minute or Garnier Fructis Melting mask (only used 2x)
Leave in on wash day. Rusk smoother, Ntm silk touch than seal
Leave in throughout 2 weeks: Spray mix of Aloe Vera juice and Herbal Essences L+R and deer park water.
My oil seal mix is modeled behind traycee's of KISS
Macadamia Nut Oil
Coconut Oil
Avocado oil and Evoo
This oil mix i will say is the bomb though.
I also did 1 treatment of the aphogee hard core.
I also plan to start adding videos to my blog of things I do with my hair.
Oh I forgot to add.
Baking soda treatments as you can see my hair had no problems. I also did 1 baking soda treatment a week before relaxing since i had a lot of new growth.
