I came across some information on how to make your own kinky straight or kinky curly when I was searching for a way to make my wig not look so shiny. Has anyone ever tried anything like this? Do you think it would work on regular bss silky hair? If it does, I am at the store in 10 mins!!!

I did this once on a silky lace wig I had. The results were good but not as great as the OP. I remember getting the perm from Sally's and the smallest perm rods I could find. Sadly, I have no pictures as this was a good 8 years ago.

I just steam processed a brazillian straight closure to a kinky straight...been wearing it for the last month now with no problems
