Bodiphier Relaxer

Has any one used this with any success?

I called yesterday and asked some questions re: this product. It is supposed to be an alkaline water based product that is less damaging to the hair then regular relaxers. Your hair doesn't need to be neutralized after use. You put on your new growth and sit under the hairdryer with heat for 15 minutes, then to bring it to the ends of your regular relaxed hair and sit for another 15 minutes. It is suppose to be compatible with other relaxers. And the lady giving me this information stated that she has used for five years and likes it. My concern was that once you start using this you will have to trim your regular relaxed hair as it will start to break off. I asked her if regular trims would do and she said yes. You are also suppose to use that products that go along with the relaxer.

I just wanted to know if anyone has used this product over a period of time and with what results.

It sounds good, but you know how that is.

I used it a couple of times about 3 years ago. It left my hair very dry. It was like using an expensive no-lye relaxer....similar to the naturalaxer. I only wanted to texturize my hair, not get it straight. The instructions at that time did not say to sit under a dryer, so perhaps they've changed it. Still sounds the same though. My hair was natural at the times, so I don't know about using it on previously relaxed hair.
