I find the mizani Regular a bit harsh..it burns me 8 minutes in and you're supposed to leave it in 15 minutes but I don't so the hair doesn't process well. Could I "soften" it a bit by adding EVOO or just find another relaxer...i.e that Vitalie L&B one? I was using Affirm mild but not sure I like it all that much. It's always underprocessed looking after 2-3 weeks (I leave it in 20 minutes). Maybe I need a regular??? I wanted to try Elucence regular lye BUT they won't sell it to non-licensed individuals.
Are any of you able to get your hands on some Elucence relaxers??

I am surprised you found Mizani to harsh...I am a big fan, anyway Affirm to me is a bit drying and the hair seems to always need a relaxer before time, or in my case never got straight. Do you have a sens. scalp? You might want to try Mizani's Sens Scalp or Nairobi's relaxer. I burn easy and can process longer with these two.

I think you maybe able to purchase Elucence relaxer from www.pleasantimage.com . I'm not sure though.

OMG...I TOTALLY HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH AFFIRM. I HAVE HAD IT APLLIED TWICE, THE FIRST TIME IT WAS UNDERPROCESSED IN THE LAST SECTION THAT WAS DONE. SO THE NEXT TIME WE USED REG AND LEFT IT ON A LITTLE LONGER. IT BURNED THE CRAP OUT OF ME. IT WAS PRETTY STRAIT,BUT STILL NOT WORTH BURNING THAT BAD. I STILL FEEL THE LAST SECTION DID NOT RELAX AS WELL.

I USED MIZANI FOR 8 OR MORE YEARS AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. THE ONLY REASON I TRIED AFFIRM WAS BECAUSE MY STYLIST STOP DOING HAIR, SO I DECIDED TO TRY SOMETHING NEW.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT ANY OTHER RELAXERS EXCEPT MIZANI, AND MY NEXT RELAXER WILL BE MIZANI.

Thanks for the replies Ladies. I think I have narrowed it down to Mizani Regular (with EVOO mixed) or Vitale L&B.
