Blonde Braids??

Just make sure the blond is not to brassy (to golden). Us the "blonde" only as a highlight and mix it with several diffrent shades of browns.

i bought bags of 4/30 for the base and then a few bags of 30/144 for the highlight. 144 is like a strawberry blonde, not a cold tone like a platinum blonde. going from 4 to 30 to 144 looks like a nice color flow when mixed together.

i installed a test braid of 4/30 into my hair and one of 4/30/144 mix just to see.

I really like what she's doing. But it is a very extreme look.

i say go for it. heck, it's summertime, and i think it would be better to do it now than in the winter. as long as it's around these color schemes, i'm all for it.

the key is to let the braider know what you want and where you want it mixed. one time i said i wanted "highlights" and it just ended up looking like a hot mess. a different braider did a great job of mixing the hair in and it looked AMAZING

The past two times I have mixed blonde in with my braids and did a two tone. The back/bottom half is dark brown/black mix and the top/crown is blonde/darkbrown mix. I like how it turns out and I have always gotten lots of compliments on it. I would just find what best suits you.
